Jonathan Barnett-Award-Winning Franchise Developer

Jonathan Barnett
Award-Winning Franchise Developer & Founder of Oxifresh Carpet Cleaning

Jonathan Barnett, CEO and founder of one of America’s fastest growing franchises teaches you how to build a business model that allows for exponential grow without requiring more and more of your personal time.

Jonathan Barnett is the founder and president of Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning. His company is less than four years old and started with just one location in Denver, Colorado. It currently has nearly two hundred franchises in forty-three states – a growth rate that’s earned accolades from Entrepreneur and The Franchise Times.

This rapid growth can be traced to the hard work of Jonathan Barnett. He began his career at Oral Roberts University in 1999 working toward a BS in Business Administration. He applied what he was learning right away, creating a business that summer. Johnny B’s Fireworks Stand opened in 2000 and, though humble in origin, the number of stands expanded each summer, paying his way through school.

Running a business during the summer was one thing for Mr. Barnett, but hardly enough to keep him busy. Inspired by a love for basketball, he joined the Oral Robert’s Golden Eagles basketball team. Becoming part of the NCCA D1 team was a challenge for Jonathan Barnett, but he succeeded. He was even the team’s chaplain for two years.

This time with the team and his own faith led him to create Crossover International in 2001. Crossover is a nonprofit basketball ministry that focuses on using Christian athletes to spread the Gospel and build relationships with the kids who attended their camps and games.

All told, Jonathan Barnett created a business, started an international ministry, played basketball, and served as the team’s chaplain while attending Oral Roberts. He also graduated a full year early. Jonathan then earned his masters from Colorado Christina University by 2005. These various experiences led him to create Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning in August 2006. With his unbridled energy, Jonathan has led Oxi Fresh through a period of remarkable, stable growth, and prepared the company to take over the world of carpet cleaning.Jonathan has been featured on ABC, NBC, CBS and Foxbusiness.
